Taking Care of Your Skin

Here are a few tips about how to look after your skin:

Simple cleansing routine morning and evening, with exfoliation once or twice a week and of course….

  1. Stay moisturized even if moisturizers cannot restore lost skin tone, they can rehydrate the top layer of your skin, making it look firmer and healthier.  To optimize absorption of moisturizer, apply it immediately after a bath or shower when your skin is still warm and damp,  Do not forget to moisturize your neck an area which is much neglected and that is prone to sun damage.
  2. Vitamin E is an important anti aging vitamin for the skin which can be applied externally or ingested.  Massage the contents of a vitamin e capsule into your face, or if you prefer to include vitamin e in the foods you eat, good sources include. unrefined corn oil, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, beans, wheatgerm and tuna
  3. Massage is also a great way to look after your skin, in our facials we would use massage as it an excellent way to increase circulation, calm the nervous system, relieve muscle tension, promote sleep and tone muscles.. In turn it has a knock on effect on your appearance especially if you have massages on a regular basis
